Cotton yarn is yarn made from cotton fibers through spinning process, and is called cotton yarn after being layered. Depending on the spinning process, it can be divided into carded yarn and combed yarn.
Rough-spun yarn: Yarn spun from cotton fibers using a conventional spinning system.
Combed yarn: It is a yarn made by spinning cotton fibers through a carding and spinning system.
Combed yarn is made from high-quality raw materials. In the final yarn, the fibers are straight and parallel, with fewer knots, good luster, uniformity, and high strength. These cotton yarns are mainly used for weaving fabrics.
Carding and spinning process: cotton blending → cotton carding → carding → drawing frame → roving → spinning → doffing (manual winding and automatic winding) → finished product inspection.
Combed spinning process: cotton blending → opening → carding → drafting → winding → combing → drafting → roving → spinning → doffing (manual and automatic winding) → finished product inspection.
Cotton yarn is the core of hotel bedding and also determines the lifespan of hotel towels.
