Did you know that hotel pillows are washable

The hotel pillow core is the key to determining the quality of guests' sleep, and this is thanks to the filling material. Different filling materials bring different experiences to the head. Hotel bedding is "one guest, one exchange", and hotel bedding sets can be washed. Can hotel core products such as hotel pillows be washed? What kind of clever way can the washed pillow core be similar to the original one?

Hotel fiber pillow core, for example: hotel feather velvet pillow, the fiber material has poor breathability, and after long-term use, it is prone to lack of elasticity, deformation and agglomeration, and may appear uneven. When cleaning, it is best to use a mild detergent to protect the pillow core. For machine washing, it is best to wrap a large towel around the pillow core before putting it into the washing machine to balance the water flow, which can effectively prevent deformation of the pillow core.

Hotel silk pillows cannot be washed with water or dry cleaned. They can only be dried regularly in a ventilated and cool place to remove moisture. If there is dirt, please use silk detergent to clean locally, and after washing, let it air dry naturally in a ventilated and cool place.

Hotel down pillows, please note that these pillows are not suitable for machine washing and are best washed with water. When washing, soak the pillow core in cold water for 20 minutes, then soak it in warm water at 30 ℃, add neutral detergent for 15 minutes, and gently brush it with a soft bristled brush. After washing, do not wring too dry as it can easily cause the down to clump together. You can squeeze out the water with both hands and let it dry in a cool place. After drying, gently pat the pillow core to make the down fluffy and soft.

Hotel health pillows, for example: buckwheat pillows/cassia seed pillows. For pillows with buckwheat skin, tea leaves, and medicinal pillows, due to their health and calming effects, if washed with water, not only will it affect the health effect, but it will also cause the pillow core to mold. This type of pillow core, when used for a long time, may produce some debris and dust, which can easily cause allergies and other problems. Therefore, at regular intervals, the filling material of the pillow core can be poured out, the debris can be sieved out, and it can be placed in the sun to dry.
